Senior Account Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform account management for potential leads and prospects of direct selling efforts.
- Identify potential prospects and do online market research and prospects analysis.
- Work with pre-sales staff for lead generation, telemarketing, and documentation.
- Maintains and updates databank/databases and activities for existing prospects and clients.
- Do client calls and site visits for meetings, product presentation, requirements investigation, and negotiations.
- Conduct thorough qualifications of accounts by investigating and documenting client background, business requirements, and HRIS needs.
- Identify appropriate strategies and create game plans for every account handled.
- Manage the Sales and Marketing Department, all its staff and all its sales activities and milestones for new accounts and promotes good customer relations.
- Prepare and submit proposals to prospective clients.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Group for marketing activities such as exhibits and product launching.
- Works closely with Technical Support Group, Implementation Group, and R&D Group for delivery and acceptance of timelines, milestones, and billings.
- Prepare and submit sales forecast and sales plan regularly to Immediate Superior for review and approval.
- Deliver the set sales objectives and quota.
- Report regularly to Management for progress status of all accounts being handled and make appropriate suggestions and recommendations for the improvement of both Products and Customer Service.
- Attends to account closing, contract preparation, and follow up of Purchase Order (PO) and payments.
- Coordinates with the Accounting Department for billing and collection schedules.
- Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Management.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (required).
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.
- Proven experience (2-5 years) in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Experience in lead generation, sales negotiations, and client relationship management.
- Knowledge of market research techniques and business growth strategies.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to effectively present ideas, proposals, and reports.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM software, and other business development tools.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and strategically.
